Over the course of 9 days, students will experience the first-hand challenges of main a group in a remote vacation spot while kayaking through Belize’s pristine coastal waterways. This out of doors experiential learning course transforms students into leaders by challenging college students to guide their friends via new conditions. Students mirror on this challenge to develop their own conceptualization and follow of leadership. The group will work together as an expedition staff to kayak, navigate, cook, eat, and set up camp. Along the best way students may also enjoy snorkeling, fishing, and local island life. Throughout the journey, students will give attention to enhancing particular person and group efficiency, be taught and apply appropriate leadership fashions, and supply and obtain structured suggestions. Island Expe ditions offers journey logistics and local guides to support the trek and train students about life in Belize. The subsequent expedition might be January 4-12, 2020.
